Would you rather “do it yourself” when it comes to tech? Think you might be interested in web development?
Learn the basics of HTML and CSS over 10 weeks of in-person training and self-directed practice. Start writing code for your own website and publicize your passion, whether it’s your portfolio, business, organization, sports team, fanfiction, cute pet photos, or an upcoming event.

JavaScript Programming Basics
JavaScript is the programming language of the web. Once you learn JavaScript you can start building interactive websites, apps, and games that run in the browser, on your phone, on your computer, or even on your robot!
In 10 weeks, you’ll learn the basics of computer programming: how to store data, use logic, and write functions. Each week, you will practice your coding skills on live webapps with the goal of building your very own chatbot.

Meet the Instructor
Christina Foran has been creating websites since 1999. She taught writing and math before becoming a software engineer at Slack. Since then, she has taught computer programming at Hackbright Academy and Girl Develop It. Christina is passionate about making tech accessible for all kinds of learners. 🤟
