Course Description
JavaScript is the programming language of the web. Once you learn JavaScript you can start building interactive websites, apps, and games that can run in the browser, on your phone, on your computer, or even on your robot!
In this course, you’ll learn the basics of computer programming: how to store data, use logic, and write functions. Each week, you will practice your coding skills on live webapps.
No previous coding experience required, just confidence in using a web browser and a knack for troubleshooting.
Learning Goals
- Read JavaScript code and write your own basic algorithms.
- Work with and store data as strings, numbers, booleans, arrays, and objects.
- Write functions with parameters and return values.
- Use conditional logic and loops to control the flow of your programs.
- Practice debugging and searching for solutions online.
